Description:

Garvagh Glebe Wind Farm is a joint development between Hibernian Wind Power and Coillte Teoranta. ESBI, under a full turnkey contract, is responsible for the complete scope of works: procurement, engineering, construction and commissioning.

Garvagh Glebe is situated on the slopes of Corrie Mountain in County Leitrim. Due to the geographical proximity and co-incident timing (both projects are Gate 2 Grid connection offers) of this project and that of Tullynahaw in Co. Roscommon, they are both being developed simultaneously.

The combined output of both wind farms will be exported via a dedicated 110kV sub-station, located on the Garvagh Glebe site.

26MW. Produces enough green energy to meet the electricity needs of more than 14,500 homes.

13 x Vestas V80/2MW machines
